Pearl Aday is the adopted daughter of rock legend, Meatloaf. She has traveled with her mother and father as they toured the world. She is also wife of Scott Ian from the band Anthrax, who also plays guitar for Pearl. Pearl has been surrounded by rock ‘n’ roll but also was exposed to soul, country and R&B.
Pearl seems to have a natural ability and passion for music. She shines in her acoustic version of “Wish You Were Here”. She can sing a myriad of songs with her inspirations being Heart, Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks. She also sings back up for the band Motley Crue, as well as; her fathers band. Her voice is both beautiful and soulful.
Her album tells the tale of her own personal struggles in life. She includes songs about being a rock child and her relationship with her mother. She composes her music by compiling her poetry, phrases, titles and ideas that she has jotted down-things that have touched her.
